Mind Over Matter

| 3 Comments | No TrackBacks

I believe a lot of things in life are mind over matter.  Some recent examples for me are...

Kicking my diet coke habit...

Forcing myself to get out of bed and in the shower when my alarm goes off, not several snoozes later...

Making the right eating choices...

Not letting petty things get the better of me...

Being less selfish and more patient...

These are all things I really want to do but just haven't made them a priority lately.  No time like the present!

What have you been meaning to do lately, but just haven't put your mind to it yet?

That list is impossible! I couldn't possibly manage all of those, even one I'd struggle with - give yourself a little break there luv!
I admire your ambition though... My personal goal for tomorrow (my ONE goal, see there) will to be more like that. :)

Haha. It's not impossible!! Just very, very, very difficult. :) If I make these things a priority and set my mind to it, I can accomplish them. Positive thinking!

Well I always try to find the positive side of things, and I think talking about it is already a step towards something. I know way too many people who dont' even dare talk about their weight problems and are aggressive when you approach them about it. I used to be 80 pounds overweight and really my issue was the eating. I knew that I ate too much but I didn't have the self control that's necessary to stop myself and start shrinking my stomach. Well, yada yada I'm weak I know. So I bought into one of those online weight loss systems because I figured they can't all be worthless. And you know I guess it's because when you buy something, and pay for it, you don't just disregard it. So when I bought that truth about abs system course, I actually started following it. I guess my incentive was that I wanted to get my money's worth from it. So all in all, I did lose the weight I needed, but I needed something to push me to do it. You can try taking control yourself, but the Truth about Abs system helped me. You can see for yourself how it works here. Truth About Abs
