Guilty Pleasures: TV Edition

| 24 Comments | No TrackBacks

I am sitting waiting for American Idol to come on.  I have no idea why I still watch or what I even like about this show.  I won't tape it if I am not going to be around, but I always watch if I am and I remember.

My other current tv guilty pleasure?  Biggest Loser.  The transformations astound me.  I love the end of the episode where they show what the person who was kicked off looks like today.

The Boy can't stand either of these shows.

My biggest guilty tv please is from way back in the day.  I used to LOVE Dawson's Creek.  *covers face in shame*  I didn't start watching until the 2nd season but, man, did I get sucked in.  The first 3 seasons were far better than the rest but I still continued to watch.  Joey and Pacey!!  Haha.

What are your tv guilty pleasures of the present or past?

Oh man, I loved Dawson's Creek! I watched right up until the very end. Fun fact: a girl a couple of years younger than me in high school (we were in Drama Club together) was in a Summer Theatre program, met "Dawson" and he went to her senior prom with her! (Before he was Dawson though.)

Current guilty pleasures: Jon & Kate Plus 8 (I find this show strangely addictive!). And I admit this to almost no one but as much as I hate compeitition/reality shows, I got hooked on American Idol last season due to the writers' strike in Hollywood.

Glad I am not the only "oldie" that loved that show. Were you a Pacey and Joey or Dawson and Joey kind of girl? That is such a cool story about taking James to the prom!

I must admit that I have watched multiple episodes of Jon and Kate Plus 8. I couldn't imagine having so many kids, let alone almost all at once! 6 kids in their terrible 2's at once? Good lord. I wish them good luck when the kids become teenagers!

You have me sold, I am going to purchase Dawson's Creek DVDs as soon as I can. I used to watch it on TBS every morning for 2 hours and I loved it. Watching that Joey/Pacey clip it brought back wonderful memories.

I have a secret to tell you but you have to promise not to tell anyone! Promise???

watching the clip made me want to pop in my dvds. i can keep your secret, i promise!
