Things I Love: Letter 'M' Edition

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks
I found a fun little meme over at Dawn's blog and thought I would play along.

Here is how it works:
1.  Post a comment on this entry if you want to play along and I will assign you a letter.
2.  Make a post similar to this one listing ten things you love that begin with the letter you were assigned.
3.  Assign a letter to anyone who comments on your post and assign each of them a letter.
4.  Around and around she goes.

Dawn assigned me the letter M.  I would have though it would be a fairly easy letter to do, but I did struggle a bit to come up with 10 things.  My list, in no particular order, is:

1.  M&Ms.  Definitely one of my favorite candies.  I love the dark chocolate the best, but the milk chocolate are awesome too.  Right up there with Twix and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

2.  Mail.  I love getting things in the mail.  Well, everything except for the bills and the junk mail.  Cards and packages are the best.  I love getting Emails from friends or from people visiting my blog.  I love sending things in the mail to other people too.

3.  Make-up.  It is really nice to be able to hide those dark circles, lengthen your eye-lashes, and even out your skin tone.  It only takes a couple of minutes and it makes a huge difference.  I use Prescriptives all skins mineral makeup powder/foundation and Prescriptives Here To Stay mascara.

4.  Malteses.  I'd really like to get a dog.  These guys may be a tad on the small side but they are so darn cute, hypoallergenic, and generally well behaved.

5.  Macintosh Apples.  I eat one of these almost daily.  You know, to keep the doctor away.

6.  May.  The month of May is one of my favorites.  I love the springtime in general.  April showers bring May flowers.  Everything is coming alive.   It's not too hot, it's not too cold.  I can finally go outside again after being cooped up all winter.

7.  Movies.  I really enjoy movies.  All types.  I love going to the theater and watching movies at home.  I love movie popcorn.  The Boy and I just rented Hancock and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.  We watched Hancock already and will probably watch the other one tonight.  I enjoyed Hancock until the very end.  It just got weird and confusing.

8.  Mom.  Of course I can't have a top ten list beginning with the letter 'M' without including Mom.  She is very strong and loving and would do just about anything for me.  I admire her in many ways.

9.  Margaritas.  Strawberry.  Frozen.  No salt.

10.  Memories.   The fond ones, anyway  :)  I like reflecting back and remembering different times in my life and different experiences I've had.  I love pictures and scrapbooks to help bring me back to a time or place.

Anyone else want to play along?

Sorry I'm so late getting over here to check out your list! All the pre-Christmas obligations really kept me busy but I'm getting caught up again. I love mail too--happy mail anyway. ;-) And M&Ms--have you tried the peanut butter ones?? Addctive. So are the mint ones they came out with for Christmas. I prefer March to May, down here, though. It's perfect weather. 70, no humidity, crystal clear skies and the air smells like orange blossoms!

OMG. No, I did not know about the peanut butter M&Ms. I just looked them up now and I can't wait to try them! If I remember correctly you are down in FL. I was down in West Palm in March a couple of years ago and it was in the 90s and very humid much of my week there! Obviously that is not the norm, and it was still a very nice break from the 20 degrees, clouds, and snow that we have here that time of year!
